Harbour Penthouse

Boasting magnificent, panoramic views over Lerwick Harbour and the Island of Bressay, this luxurious apartment is situated in the heart of Lerwick's town centre.

It is furnished to an extremely high standard throughout with quality oak/leather furniture, two king-size bedsthree LCD TVs and a Blu-Ray DVD player.

Within easy walking distance of local amenities, including the award winning Museum and Archives, Mareel (state-of-the art cinema/music venue), Leisure Centre and local parks. Numerous restaurants, take-aways and shops also within easy reach. Being so centrally located, this truly is the ideal base from which to explore Shetland.

Accommodation comprises:

  • Two spacious double bedrooms, each with solid wood king-size beds and matching bedroom furniture, LCD TVs with freeview and harbour views.
  • Spacious Bathroom with bath and separate shower cubicle with mains power shower.

General

  • Centrally heated throughout.
  • Ample free parking is available on Harbour Street itself or in either of the two public car parks just off Harbour Street.
  • Serviced lets by arrangement.

Open all year round. We generally operate Saturday to Saturday bookings during peak season (May to September inclusive). Shorter stays during non-peak times will also be considered. Our standard weekly rate is from £600 to £840 (£85.71 to £120 per night) with a premium rate applicable over the festive period, festivals, events etc (details on request.)

Getting There

From the Airport

Heading north from Sumburgh on the A970, follow the signs for Lerwick. As you arrive in Lerwick, drive straight ahead through the first round-about. Take a left at the second roundabout and drive along South Lochside, past the Clickimin Leisure Centre. At the next roundabout, take a right and continue for approximately 150 yards into the town centre. Take a right just before Fort Charlotte which is also on your right. The Penthouse is situated on the corner of Harbour Street. The apartment door is on your right at the very foot of Harbour Street, painted black and marked '1'.

From the Ferry Terminal

Take a left on exiting the ferry terminal and drive for approximately 100 yards. Take a right turn (straight ahead) at the roundabout just before Grantfield Garage. Continue for approximately 150 yards into the town centre. Take a right just before Fort Charlotte which is also on your right. The Penthouse is situated on the corner of Harbour Street. The apartment door is on your right at the very foot of Harbour Street, painted black and marked '1'. The property is of course at the top of the stair, with the access door on your right-hand side.

This journey should take approximately 5 mins by car and 15 mins on foot.

From the Tourist Information Centre

A three-minute stroll heading northwards along Commercial Street and past Fort Charlotte on your left brings you to Harbour Street on your left. The Penthouse is situated within Brentham House on the corner of Harbour Street, an imposing stone building overlooking the harbour. The apartment door is on your right at the very foot of Harbour Street, painted black and marked '1'. The property is of course at the top of the stair, with the access door on your right hand side.
