Lerwick
Lerwick, the capital of Shetland, is a small and friendly cosmopolitan town, with approximately 7,500 residents. It is a busy fishing port, with a newly re-generated waterfront that is home to numerous pleasure boats and visiting yachts, mainly during the Summer months. The town boasts impressive leisure and entertainment facilities for its size and has a good variety of bars, clubs, restaurants and take-away facilities.
